Bathroom Cabinets

Bathroom Cabinets

A floating slab holds a sink. A bathroom cabinet holds everything else. CITA Interior's bathroom cabinets are wall-mounted solid wood units with soft-close drawers and open shelving, built to store what a single shelf cannot. Each cabinet ships flat-packed with numbered parts and a step-by-step guide for straightforward assembly.

Already have a countertop or base cabinet and just need a wood top? See Countertop Vanities. For a single slab without built-in storage, browse Floating Bathroom Vanities.

When a Floating Slab Is Not Enough

A single wood slab vanity works well in powder rooms and guest bathrooms where storage demand is low. In a primary bathroom used daily by one or two people, the counter fills up fast: skincare, hair tools, dental supplies, grooming kits, spare towels. A bathroom cabinet keeps all of that within arm's reach without adding a separate storage unit to the wall or floor. Drawers handle the small items. The open shelf handles the bulky ones.

How the Drawer and Shelf Layout Works

The upper section houses soft-close drawers. Each one glides out fully and shuts without slamming. Daily-use items go in the top drawer. Less-used supplies go in the lower ones. Below the drawer row, a full-width open shelf sits exposed. Rolled towels, woven baskets, and folded linens are visible and accessible without opening anything. The split between closed and open storage means you choose what stays hidden and what stays on display.

Choosing the Right Size

Standard bathroom cabinet widths run from 24 to 60 inches as a single unit. For a single vessel sink, 30 to 36 inches leaves enough countertop space on both sides. For a double sink setup, 48 inches or wider gives each basin its own drawer section. Depth sits between 18 and 22 inches on most configurations. Every CITA Interior bathroom cabinet is made to order, so non-standard dimensions are available if your layout calls for them.

Vessel Sink Pairing

The flat countertop surface on each cabinet supports vessel sinks in ceramic, stone, or glass. Wall-mounted faucets are recommended, as they leave the full countertop surface clear and simplify the plumbing path behind the cabinet. Deck-mount faucets are also compatible if a faucet hole is specified before production. Provide your sink model and drain dimensions when ordering, and we pre-cut the openings in our workshop.

FAQ

How is a bathroom cabinet different from a floating vanity shelf?

A floating vanity shelf is a single wood slab mounted to the wall. A bathroom cabinet is a full unit with drawers, an open shelf, and a countertop surface in one wall-mounted frame. The cabinet provides built-in storage that a slab does not.

Is assembly difficult?

No. Cabinets ship flat-packed with numbered parts, pre-drilled holes, and a printed guide. Two people with a drill and a level complete assembly and wall mounting in under an hour.

Can I customize the number of drawers?

Yes. Drawer count, shelf height, and overall cabinet dimensions are adjustable at order. Each unit is made to order based on your bathroom layout.

What about the sink and faucet?

Sinks, faucets, and plumbing fittings are sold separately. Specify your sink model and drain dimensions when ordering, and we pre-cut the necessary openings during production.

What finishes are available?

Clear hard wax oil, matte PU seal, satin PU seal, and tinted stain in multiple tones. For high-moisture bathrooms, PU seal finishes are recommended. Contact us for custom color matching.
