Types of Floating Shelves in This Collection

Not all floating shelves look the same, and that's the whole point. At CITA Interior, we offer several styles so you can pick the one that fits your space and taste.

Our Wall Floating Shelves are the classic option. They are straight, clean, and work in every room. If you have unused corners, Corner Shelves tuck right into 90 degree angles and turn wasted space into something useful.

Want something more artistic? Wavy Shelves bring sculptural curves to your wall, while Mushroom Shelves add a playful, nature inspired look that works great in kids' rooms or creative spaces. For entertaining, Bar Floating Shelves are deeper and built to hold bottles and glassware. And in the bedroom, a Floating Nightstand replaces a bulky side table with a wall mounted solution that includes a drawer and cable management.

What Makes CITA Interior Floating Shelves Different

Every shelf in this collection is carved from a single solid slab of Suar wood. You might also know it as Monkeypod or Rain Tree wood. It is a tropical hardwood that is loved for its swirling grain, warm color range, and natural durability. Because each plank has unique grain movement and color, no two shelves will ever look exactly the same.

The wood goes through a thorough treatment process before shaping. During the finishing stage, we apply a protective coating that gives the shelf strong resistance to termites and moisture. If you need extra water protection for bathroom or kitchen use, just let us know when you order and we will adjust the coating.

The default finish is high gloss. You can also choose matte, satin, or semi gloss at no extra cost. Just specify your preference when placing the order.

How to Install Floating Shelves from CITA Interior

All floating shelves in this collection ship as a single solid piece. There is no assembly required. Each shelf comes with T shaped metal brackets, screws, and wall plugs. You just mount the brackets to the wall, then slide the shelf onto the bracket rods until it sits flush. The whole process takes about 15 minutes per shelf with basic tools. We also send a step by step video guide to your email after you place your order.

Floating Shelves for Every Room in Your Home

These shelves work in just about every space. In the living room, stagger a few at different heights to create a gallery wall above your sofa. In the kitchen, use them to display spice jars, oils, or everyday dishes. In the bathroom, a single shelf can hold towels and candles while replacing a bulky cabinet. In the bedroom, a shelf at headboard height gives you a place for framed photos and small plants.

The key to a great shelf display is balance. Mix tall and short items, leave some breathing room between objects, and don't overcrowd. Negative space is what makes a shelf arrangement look intentional instead of cluttered.

How CITA Interior's Handcrafted Process Works

All of our products are handcrafted to order. After you place your order, we confirm the details and start production. Once the shaping is complete, we send you photos at the raw stage so you can see the overall shape. If anything needs adjusting, you can let us know before we move forward. Then we apply the finish and send photos again at the finishing stage so you can check the color and surface. Only after your final approval do we package and ship.

Because Suar wood is 100% natural, the finished product will look approximately 90% like the reference photo. The remaining variation comes from natural grain and color differences, and that is actually what makes each piece one of a kind.
